Apple will be releasing the new iPhone 17 series models around September this year, with the new iPhone 17 Pro series seeing a big change in design, along with 12 new features. With just about five months to go before the release, various look-alikes have been rendered many times, and the Pro lineup is likely to look like the one shown below, with a large horizontal matrix design.
Fuselage materials
The frame is made of a lighter aluminum alloy instead of titanium alloy, and the back is made of a hybrid design of half aluminum alloy on top and half glass on the bottom, which is both lightweight and sturdy.
Scratch-resistant display
The reinforced glass screen with a new anti-reflective coating reduces glare and improves scratch resistance.
Increased battery life / Thicker phone
The thickness of iPhone 17 Pro Max will increase from 8.25 to approximately 8.725 millimeters to accommodate a larger battery.
A19 Pro Chip
The Pro series is expected to be powered by TSMC’s third-generation 3nm A19 Pro chip, which offers improved performance and power efficiency.
Wi-Fi 7
This year’s four iPhone 17 series are rumored to feature Apple’s own Wi-Fi 7 chip, which improves the speed and stability of wireless connections.
Upgraded front and rear cameras
The iPhone 17 Pro series will have an upgraded 48-megapixel rear telephoto lens with support for at least five times optical zoom and 25x digital zoom, and a significant improvement in night and telephoto shooting performance, according to the leaks. The front is also getting a big upgrade, with all iPhone 17s getting a 24-megapixel upgrade from the previous 12-megapixel.
RAM
The Pro lineup is expected to receive an increase in operating memory to 12GB of RAM, which significantly enhances multitasking and the performance of Apple’s smart features.
Video Recording Upgrade
For the first time, the 17 Pro Series will support dual-view video recording, allowing users to call up both the front and rear cameras for video recording, greatly enriching the presentation of video content.
Improved Cooling Performance
The Pro Series will feature a new cooling system that improves stability and cooling efficiency during long periods of high load operation.
